Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the RAF, the next Skegness Conservative Supper Club event will
be a talk from Squadron Leader Karl Wright.
The special supper, open to members and non-members, will take place at The Vine Hotel, Skegness,
on Thursday, August 30, at 7.30pm for 8pm.
Squadron Leader Wright, originally from Spilsby, will be talking about the history of the RAF in
Lincolnshire over the last 100 Years. Karl is an experienced and engaging speaker and during his
research he has uncovered several little-known facts he intends to share with his audience.
In addition to the talk, guests will also be able to enjoy a delicious two-course supper.
The menu is:
Starters: mushroom soup, with freshly baked bread and whipped butter, or salmon and parsley
fishcakes with herb mayo.
Main courses: Roast pork, with stuffing, crackling and cider and shallot gravy, or scampi and chips
with garden peas and tartare sauce.
A vegetarian option will also be available on request.
