There will be a chance to meet the Conservative candidate for Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, Cllr Rob Waltham, when he is guest speaker at Skegness Conservative Supper Club on Thursday, January 30.

The supper will be held at the North Shore Hotel, Skegness, at 7pm for 7.30pm. Please note the earlier than usual start time.

There will be a two-course meal, plus tea and coffee, at a charge of £23 per head.

Cumberland sausage rings, with two fried eggs, grilled tomato and mushroom, chunky cut chips and garden peas.

Creamy chicken, with smoked bacon, mushrooms, buttered new potatoes and mixed salad.

Sweet potato and mango curry (V), with steamed rice, chapatti bread and poppadum

Fisherman’s basket, with scampi, tempura king prawns, cod fishcake and chunky cut chips and crisp salad

Desserts:

Sticky toffee pudding, with brandy custard

Apple crumble, with vanilla pod ice cream

Clotted cream and raspberry sundae, with fresh raspberries and whipped cream
